About

H.A.M. and E.G.G.S. is an acronym for the delivery of “Health Awareness Messages that Empower with God’s Grace and Salvation”.  Simply put, that is my goal; provide you with health awareness messages that will empower you with the ability to improve and safeguard your health.

Sometimes, what you know is as important, if not more important, than who you know.  These messages are about what you know and are not always delivered from the same box.  However, they  are “sized to fit all”.  Our H.A.M.and E.G.G.S. is calorically friendly and served with an abundance of nutrients to help empower you with the ability to sustain and or acquire a good quality of life.

I am Clarise Spriggs, formerly of Boston, Massachusetts, where my husband and I spent all of our lives until we relocated here.  The long and short of me is simply this, when we moved here, I decided that I wanted to follow “my passion” and use some of my natural skills and talents in a church ministry and here I am.

For as long as I can remember, I have always been passionate about communicating with people.  My standard greeting is, “Hi! How are ya?”  The response to this question is very important to me and I wait to hear the answer before continuing the conversation. I love talking with people; not at people.  I enjoy sharing information and do it especially well when I know the subject matter.  In the past year, I have been a participant in the Power to Prevent Diabetes program, Train the Trainer for diabetes workshops, and am the wife and mother of type 2 diabetics.

This endeavor is very personal to me because I have learned that there are choices and actions that can be taken to safeguard one’s health.  Last year, I lost nearly 40 lbs and quit smoking.  All it took was the caring and sharing of other individuals.  Like them, I too wish to share health awareness messages that provide information to help you make better health decisions.
